Clickatell Central offers
a centralised product and user management system. One is able to
have multiple products of the same type, as well as defining sub-users
and assigning them products.
DEFINITION
Home:
This is first page that you saw upon logging into Clickatell Central.
Any news items and new products will be mentioned on this page.
Purchase:
Allows you to purchase credits. Once in the purchase page, you can calculate
the purchase price based on the number of credits you require. The final
price will be displayed in the currency of your choice. You can then choose your preferred payment option.
Activation Code:
Use this page to enter the activation code that you have received
on your phone, or to send an activation code to your mobile phone.
Ringtone/Logo Converter:
This converter, converts either midi files or 2 bit BMP's (72x14
pixels) to an eight bit binary string for delivery through either
Quicksend or API. One must cut and paste the resultant
hexadecimal code as your text component. Make sure that you set
the SMS Message type, or in the case of the API, you may supply
your own User Data Header.
User Management:
You may set up sub-users using this interface. They will log into
Clickatell Central using subuser_login_name@[your_client_id]. Whilst
setting up your sub-users, you can specify that they have their
own account. You can transfer credits from your account to your
sub-user. When they spend their credits they will draw from their
own account rather than from yours. Once you have set up your users,
then you can set up products for them.
Report:
This reporting module is very powerful and can be used to track
number of messages sent by day or by product category. One first
chooses the time period for which the report must be generated.
It must either be in the last x hours, or within a certain time
frame.
Once you have chosen your relevant time period, then set the message
status. The most common report is Message Delivered or All. Then
define your Product and Grouping. Sorting allows for more customisation
however both sorting and grouping is not required. Using the report
tool within a product tab allows you to create reports for that
particular sub-product.
Preferences:
You are able to change your personal registration details from this
menu. Most of the fields you should already have filled in during
registration.
