Clickatell Affiliate Program

Clickatell offers an excellent affiliate program for those web site owners looking to earn revenue from advertising Clickatell products and services on their own web site/s. Here are a few key steps to getting going: Registering for an Affiliate Account Setting up Campaigns & Campaign Groups Reports Earnings & Payments   Each of these is described in more detail on its own. To go directly to a particular section, click on the appropriate link. Registering for an Affiliate Account Visit the Affiliate Registration page Enter your personal information in Step 1 Enter your business information in Step 2 including the URL of your primary web site Complete Step 3 In Step 4 you can choose to be paid in Cash or Clickatell Message Credits. If you choose cash, you will need to provide your banking details. If you choose Credits your affiliate earnings will be redeemed in the form of Clickatell Vouchers which can redeemed on any Clickatell product site. Complete Registration, and enter Affiliate Central Setting up Affiliate Campaigns & Campaign Groups Within your Affiliate Central account you can create and manage all your affiliate campaigns. All affiliate campaigns must form part of a Campaign Group. The first step therefore is to create a Campaign Group. Creating a Campaign Group Select the "Add a Campaign Group" link in the left navigation found under "Campaigns". Name the Campaign Group (e.g. Group1) and add the website URL (e.g. http://www.mysite.com) where the banner/link will be shown. Click "Add" to save your new Campaign Group. Creating a Campaign Select the "Add a Campaign" link in the left navigation found under "Campaigns". Select the relevant campaign group from the dropdown (e.g. Group1). Create a Name for your new campaign (e.g. campaign1) Select the Clickatell URL where you would like your campaign to land (e.g. http://www.clickatell.com) Choose one banner or link for your Campaign from the dropdown. If you click on "View all Banners/Links" you can view the entire selection of banners and links available to you each with their own ID. Click "Add" to save your new campaign. You will now be issued with the html code you will need to place within your web page in order to run your banner/link campaign. Affiliate Reports There two basic reports that you can pull from within your Affiliate Account: Campaign Report This report will detail your campaign history over the period of your choice. In order to draw this report follow the instructions below: Select the "date range" and optionally choose a campaign group. Choose to display or Export your campaign report The top level report will show a breakdown of your campaign group performance including: Views, Clicks, Registrations, & Earnings over the period selected. If in display mode you can drill down on the campaign group to view individual campaign performance reports including; Views, Clicks, Registrations, & Earnings over the period selected. Payment Report This report will detail your payment history from month to month. Payments occur automatically at the end of each calendar month. In order to draw this report follow the instructions below: Select the "from" and "To" months from the dropdown and "submit" The report will display payments/vouchers issued to the affiliate over the periods selected. Earnings and Payments Clickatell pays an affiliate 10% commission on purchases from customers who have been referred through the affiliate's campaign. Commission is not limited to any number of purchases but is limited to a 6 month purchase period. Thereafter if the referred customer continues to purchase through Clickatell the affiliate will not be awarded any further commission. Affiliate payments will be actioned automatically last day of each calendar month. Note, in most cases transfer of the funds will take +-7 days to appear in the Affiliate's account.
